Each UnMasterclass (2011) represents an unlearning of how to paint. My tutors best advice on how to paint was to go to galleries and try and figure out how past masters had constructed their paintings, to learn from them. UnMasterclass questions whether in the age of jpegs and the internet if a new type of (un)learning how to paint through looking at reproductions is emerging.
